MY STORY
​I’m Graciela, a innovative strategist with a global mindset, blending creativity, data-driven insights, and strategic thinking to build impactful brand experiences. Originally from the U.S., I earned a degree in Finance from the College of Charleston, where I developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills. While finance sharpened my strategic thinking, my passion for branding and consumer behavior led me to marketing. My diverse career has allowed me to navigate various industries, from managing data-driven campaigns at Cloud on Tap to exploring digital engagement strategies across different sectors.
Currently, I am pursuing an International Master’s Degree in Management with a specialization in Strategic Marketing at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics. Living and studying in Portugal has reinforced my ability to adapt to different markets and approach marketing from a truly international perspective.

MY ROLE IN MARKETING

2022 PROJECT WINNER

For my final senior project, we were challenged to design our own product and take it to market. Sounds easy? The product was “Air”. Clean air is a commodity in many parts of the world, but selling it can be tricky. We were tasked to identify a “blue ocean” market and our target market's psychographic and behavioral needs. We had to develop a marketing strategic plan with a promotional strategy and materials (logo, brand name, brand personality, advertisements, social conformity plan, etc.) to create demand and control perceptions. Arctic Air is the world's first fresh air facial spray that refreshes, cleanses, depuffs, and tones to help you achieve flawless, it-girl skin. For the project, I had to be creative, detail-oriented, and evidence-based to prepare the best possible launch strategy for Arctic Air. ​​
REIMAGINING THE CINEMA EXPERIENCE: A CONSUMER-DRIVEN STRATEGY FOR CINEMAS NOS

As Portugal’s leading cinema chain, Cinemas NOS faces increasing competition from streaming services, making it crucial to adapt to changing consumer behaviors. This project examined the evolving entertainment landscape, particularly among Gen Z, to identify opportunities for enhancing digital engagement, creating immersive experiences, and refining marketing strategies. Through market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and consumer research, I developed strategic recommendations, including themed movie nights, gamifying the Cinemas NOS app, and leveraging social media for targeted engagement. This project strengthened my ability to conduct data-driven consumer analysis, develop innovative marketing strategies, and apply experiential marketing to modernize traditional industries. I refined my skills in strategic problem-solving, audience segmentation, and digital communication by designing solutions tailored to evolving consumer behaviors. Additionally, I enhanced my ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies, reinforcing the importance of adaptability and consumer-centric decision-making in a competitive landscape.
ANALYZING USER RETENTION & PRICE SENSITIVITY FOR SPOTIFY IN A COMPETITIVE MARKET
Marketing Research Project - 2025

Ever wonder what makes people stay loyal to a music streaming platform or what makes them jump ship? For this project, we dove deep into user retention and price sensitivity to help Spotify keep young listeners (ages 12–34) hooked in an ultra-competitive market. Through surveys and interviews, we uncovered what makes users tick (and what makes them unsubscribe), from pricing concerns to the need for more personalized experiences. But research was just the beginning. We turned insights into action, crafting strategies that balanced consumer psychology, market trends, and business feasibility to ensure Spotify stayed ahead. This project pushed me to be analytical and strategic, transforming raw data into meaningful recommendations. It also challenged my communication and storytelling skills, as I had to present complex findings in a compelling, easy-to-digest way. Plus, collaborating with an international team meant flexing my problem-solving and adaptability muscles, because in the fast-paced world of streaming, staying still isn’t an option.
